I'll get back to you

Up early because it is a Monday, we learn it's a SNOW DAY for both of us. I've lined up a Norwegian thriller on Netflix and taken the butter out of the fridge to soften for banana bread. I plan to spend much of the day thinking and writing.

So, hasta más tarde.

  3. Shawn, I don't suppose by chance you know what the text is in English on the painting at the top of my blog. It's a painting I was given by the family of a world traveler who recently passed away.

    1. Gwil, I'm pretty sure it's Malagasy which is the native language of Madagascar. It's hard to see all the words with the blog title superimposed. I'd love to know if there is more writing on the back of the painting. Google translate tells me izay means which and eto means here. The other words might be names.

    2. Shawn, thanks a lot for your help. I made an edit. Now it is not superimposed . . . in theory anyway.

  4. A snow day - is this the opposite of "hitzefrei"? (In Germany children don't have to attend school, when temperatures are - seldom enough - too high).
If, then enjoy your day of leisure!

    1. Really? Hitzefrei! I've never heard of that. Yes we close the schools when the road conditions would make driving there difficult for cars and buses. Every child lives for these days - usually a couple a year.
